All About Training

Kabir Rachure has the distinction of having completed Race Across America twice in the Solo Division. On his second attempt in 2022, Kabir finished on the podium to become the only Asian to ever finish RAAM on the podium. Kabir has also finished all Inspire India races on the podium to have an award named after himself. The Great Himalayan Ultra- Route, Navigation, and Approach for Racing

In the first video, Inspire India Team goes over the route details of the Great Himalayan Ultra followed by a discussion about the navigation grid to give racers a guideline of the route for Great Himalayan Ultra Race. The second video is by Kabir Rachure who has won the Great Himalayan 3 times in addition to numerous other podiums at Inspire India races and finishing RAAM Solo twice in 2019 and 2021. Planning for Multiday Ultraraces conducted by Divya Tate who crewed 8 times at International Multiday races. 400 mile races like Deccan Cliffhanger are deemed non-stop races in the Ultracycling world, only because they don’t test racers or crews for much longer than a day. For races like Ultra Spice, RAAM etc one have to evolve a strategy that allows just enough recovery so that it can be repeated day after day.
